Post SELLING: '77 Crown Full Conversion

We're sadly needing to sell our 1977 Crown fully converted Skoolie. As you can see from the pictures, this Detroit Diesel (6N71) is ready to hit the road and make memories. This frame up restoration (new sub-floor, etc.) has a lot of love and amenities. It's ready for a couple or family to log some miles! With just over 187,000 miles, this converted Crown has the following:
-Clear/clean IN RV title
-New Battery April 2018
-Tire Covers
-Custom front-door with lock
-Two tone Rhino lined paint
-Back storage compartment built into the back with additional undercarriage storage on right side
-Solar power kit (batteries not included)
-Composting toilet
-King Bed with Anthropologie bedding
-Eclectic cabinet knobs
-Custom shower pit for over 6' person
-New vent covers
-Dual arm-rest Flexsteel front seats
-Paperwork dating back to acquisition from the Department of California Highway Patrol

*Battery tender died and bus will need a jump for that marine battery

Please reach out with questions, etc. We're asking $6,500 OBO

Great Bus,
I love the look of it!
How is the insulation? Have you used it in colder climates? What is the heat source?
Thanks

Bus had a ground-up conversion from sub-floor on up and it well-insulated when you consider it is a '77 school bus. Internally there is solar readiness (Sunexplorer converter) as well as a Yamaha E2400is generator to engage with your own mobile heat source.

Have not used on-site in a colder colder climate like a Colorado. However, the previous owners did 15 months in the Mud Hut going from New Mexico up into Canada and many northern states before settling on Indiana.

Would you please send some pictures of the bathroom. What has made you want to sell? Any problems with engine, tires or body? Thanks.

Thanks for the messages.

Would be glad to send some pictures. Please email me at lucascalhoun123@gmail.com. For whatever reason, the file type I have for those photos won't upload correctly to Skoolie.

Wanting to sell the bus because it doesn't fit our lifestyle anymore. We want to market garden here at our homestead which doesn't allow for more travel.

Bus has less than 1000 miles on the tires and they were switched to Nitro. The new battery as of spring 2018 just needs a jump from a source that can hit up a Marine style battery. Double-clutch is quick to get used to and otherwise, it's ready.

Note regarding the adjustments made to interior, sub-floor, etc. Previous owner who did the build was 6'1", so the adding of the sub-floor during conversion was done to accommodate his height.

Thanks for the questions and don't hesitate to reach out at lucascalhoun123@gmail.com
