Selling mostly finished 2000 short-bus
Up for sale is a 2000 Chevy Express Cutaway short-bus that my husband and I worked on as a project this past summer. The title has already been converted to motorhome so insuring it was a breeze! Bus has 104K miles and drives wonderfully!
The Facts:
All passenger seats have been removed
Roof was professionally raised by Davycoach.com (I'm 6'6" and can stand up)
Walls and floor insulated
Floor covered in scratch resistant manufactured hardwood, w/ lament entryway
Aromatic cedar accent wall boxes in bathroom
Bathroom features 32" shower pan with drain installed
Kitchen includes propane oven/2 burner stove with storage behind and below
Energy Star apartment style fridge (pulls 60watts max)
Granite countertop in kitchen and on top of pantry for more storage.
Custom built storage cabinet that flips up to create a small table
Two bedside tables for storage
Wall mount with space for 32" TV
Bed slats with spacing for a Twin XL (perfectly fits mattresses 8" deep)
Under bed storage
Includes rear and front parking sensor kit
Built in A/C that runs off the engine
This is a great little bus that would make a fun project for someone looking to live the tiny lifestyle! Bus is located near Owensboro, Kentucky. Asking $15,000 O.B.O.
My husband and I decided to sell Samus the bus after receiving some property from family and deciding to build a tiny permanent structure instead.

I'm interested. Have you received any offers yet?
Also, prior to laying the floor, was the existing floor pulled up and treated to prevent rust?

recived some interest locally.
Before laying the floor we did remove the weather damaged subfloor but the rest of the flooring had recently been replaced with new wood and metal sheeting by daveycoach.com.

No toilet, but there is space for a nature’s head composting toliet. There’s a 32” shower pan installed on the floor as well in the “bathroom” space.
No plumbing installed yet, no electric ran (the plan was 4 solar panels on the roof). Looked into purchasing a 7 stage water filter that would fit under the folding table to filter rainwater.
Mpg seemed really good. Drove it from Colorado to Kentucky following my crystler Sebring and only had to fill up maybe 3-4 times (only cost about $500 in gas for both vehicles @$1.99 a gallon.)

Price Drop
Hello everyone!
Discussing it with my husband we’ve decided maybe 12,000 OBO would be a better starting point!
Let me know if you have any questions or would like to come check it out in person!

Did you install the air conditioner that runs off the bus or did the bus come with it? We would like to add one to our bus. Currently running a roof air off a honda generator.
