I wish they had pictures of the inside, from the outside view and
the description it is the twin to my bus. I got mine from public
surplus for under 4 grand.

My reasoning in buying my bus is that of any bus this one would
have the best maintenance record because you don't want to have
a break down with a load of prisoners on board. Mine shows 320,000
miles but only 9,000 hours on the engine. The part that sold the
wife is it had two toilets in it. Go figure.

I had pictures of the inside, it was CLEAN. Showroom clean.

Not a bad price for a mountain spec bus (8.3, auto chains, retarder) with AC. But not cheap, either.

That is the equivalent of 3/4 of a million miles.

A ton of things start breaking down at that millage.

Not the engine, but small things bolted to the engine.

Nat your math is a little confusing, 320,000 is less than 1/3 of a million
miles while 750,000 is 3/4 of a million miles. My ADD seems to be under
control today, how is yours doing.

I initially thought the same thing.... then I started considering the 9,000 hours of idling, high idling, etc, stopping, and starting on the route... it would have an impact, just not as much.

Ross Perot's Fuzzy Math, perhaps???
