Jester, I spray foamed ( closed cell 2lbs) my metal work shop from the inside and after several years decided to add another window. So had to cut a hole and was able to see how well the spray foam had adhered to the metal. There was no rust. May be different with open cell ?

Regarding the structural integrity I am all with you. I am not removing mine.

Nice looking bus, good luck,, is your next one the same size?
