Stick Shift in a '93 Cornbinder

Auction #1587736 - 1993 International Bus #229

Public Surplus: Auction #1587736

Carroll County Public Schools

125 North Court Street
Westminster, MD 21157

Mileage: 54,565

Reportedly in not running condition and without air conditioning. Seems like a good setup for someone wanting a stick.

non-turbo 7.3, will be slow, but a very durable engine and transmission

It's interesting. Everybody was saying these are hard to find and several people wanted one. Now nothing.

54k miles and air brakes. Seems like a cheap unit. NO rust showing.

It says poor condition, and it says it doesn't run. Your translation is as good as mine. That's very low mileage and the bus does look good, and I'd like to have a bus that size but it's much to far away.

There is a 1990 International bus on Portland Craig list right now.
466, 5 speed, air brakes.
What more could you want?
A Gillig of course. I have one of those in the Portland area I would sell.
1160 cat, 5 speed. Very ugly.IMG_20160121_175908.jpg

Nice Gillig.

Upload photos to photobucket first, then copy them here.

Wonder is you could pull the tranny and related parts and install them on an E450 with minimal trouble for better towing power?
