So after a lot of watching, bidding, searching, and confusion I have a bus. I will be picking up a 2002 Bluebird AA RE on Monday. It's from Kerlin and they really went out of the way to get me what I wanted in a bus. Barring any issues at work, I will be heading out Sunday and driving back Monday.

Sounds like yours probably has a 4.78 rear end, like mine does.
They aren't very common in buses with an overdrive. Normal gearing behind an MD3060 is a 5.38.

Ahh, that's right. I forgot you have a 5.9, which spins up higher. So you probably do have a 5.38 rear end. It looks like 2,200 rpm at 65 with a 5.38 and a .75 OD would put your tire height right at 40 inches. That means you probably have 10 22.5's or 22.5 low profiles (295/75 22.5's).
If all of my assumptions are correct, when it's time for new tires, you could gain a few more mph on the top end by switching to 11 22.5's.

They are 11r 22.5 now. I have to look at the rear end ratio. It spins up to 2700 according to the spec sheet. I haven't had it over 2300 and don't plan on it. It makes its best torque at about 16-1700 I think.

One steer tire is a bit worn, the other is almost new. Plan on a new set of steers when I get it completed.

First. My bus had the no child Left behind (bus driver has to hit a button to silence an alarm) that the dealer disabled with a key. Anything special about removing that? It's on all the time.

Here is where the oil is leaking from. Can't see the actual leak until I clean it up
The slobber/bypass tube comes down the front of the timing cover... It has a valve on it. I have to check that and make sure it's open. Any little bit of blowby would blow out the seal if there was no vent open...
Another thing on the to-do list 😂
