(UT) Skoolie project to good home! Roof raise 95% complete

Having to go another direction with life unfortunately, but hopefully the bus project we started can be a great launching point for someone else! Also have some related items for sale. Willing to work on price especially for package deals.

Located near Salt Lake UT, can deliver between here and dallas

Looking for $5500 obo

2000 Thomas FE 35’ School bus, 29 feet behind driver seat, Registered as RV in VT

5.9 Cummins ISB 230HP, Allison MT643 Auto trans 136k miles, 2 new group 31 batteries and trickle charger

Highway gears, rear spoiler, Can easily cruise on the interstate at 80mph, gets about 10MPG

12” roof raise almost complete, all structure and sheet metal work is done, front body work is done and sealed, rear just needs body work but good sealant already in place, just needs paint and body work to make it look clean. All metal side panels installed and sealed, designed to put in 2” XPS all around for a super efficient bus in the heat or cold. Our plan was 2” xps all around and then 1-2” of spray foam.

Subfloor is 2” XPS foam with ½” plywood. Interior completely gutted. Have some 2” xps left that will go with (almost 2 full sheets)

RV roof vent installed in place of front hatch. Rear hatch removed for the same reason and was damaged, can patch over with sheet metal before selling.

Have a 600BF poly ISO spray foam kit, can include for $500 extra

Have 6 305 watt solar panels can include for $600 extra

14,000 BTU inverter high efficiency window AC can include for $200 extra

Also have 24 of the 12v LED lights $50

Photos as is stands https://m.imgur.com/a/q5Lt3ja

There was a gent on here this morning looking for a tall bus. IIRC: he said that he was 6'2" and was having trouble finding a bus that would accommodate his height.

He also said that he lacks the tools necessary to raise the roof.

Sounds like a good match.

Now if I could remember what thread he was posting on?????
