Vinyl stretches, rivet heads are small. Compared to the crazy compound curves on most bumper covers it shouldn't be a big deal, just a lot of them.

And full vinyl wrap rolls are like 55" wide. When you find 24", someone was cutting rolls to make stripes and that was left over. That's scrap.

I'm thinking about trying a vinyl stripe down each side of my bus in the middle.
Even found a vendor that sells it in a nice Burberry pattern.

Do they have it in a nice sisal pattern?

I'm thinking that would best complement all of the flora limpets I'm currently transporting.

Aye, mate. Nothing more Scottish than (English) Burberry. #5 is my favorite.

Our plan is to do the bus in khaki/beige with the Burberry accent.
Since Tiffany blue is so prevalent, we had to get more creative with our theme.

THe duck hood ornament would look nice in Burberry.

I have had one of these for many years:

Barbour Bushman Jacket:

Barbour are the new kids on the block, they didn't establish until 1894. They do have several Royal Warrants though.

Raced motorcycles off road for a number of years wearing a Barbour waxed/oiled cotton jacket. LOVED it.

When we were kids we couldn't afford Barbour. Belstaff made a range of motorcycle clothing out of a very similar waxed cotton. We all had them.

They do not compare, in any way at all, to my current KLIM, triple-layer Gore-Tex riding gear

The KLIM would be great for driving ECCB's windowless Ward the 1500 miles to my house

I was wearing it last summer when I rode I-10 between New Orleans and Mobile in the worst downpour I have ever experienced. I stayed dry.

This is what I wear riding cold. With matching jacket. In the snow.

On one of these:
Best Ural Picks - Gear Up - Ural of New England Store

It's a riot!

The KLIM gear I have is about the best that can be bought.

In cold weather I wear exactly the same as in hot, but I stick the electric jacket on too.

To each their own; that's why there's vanilla and chocolate in this world. I actually prefer the "state road crew" look to the "fun fun fun on the autobahn" look myself.

In summer I wear Kevlar denim; a holdover from when I rode on 2 wheels.
