Wanted: Front lights

Hi, I am looking for a set of front lights off a school bus. Specifically the round red & amber ones up by the roof line that most people seem to remove. OK now the hard part, I need to find somebody willing to post them to New Zealand. I want to use them as taillights on my 1970 Bedford Bus/Motorhome. If anybody keen to help out my email is usatthepalace@xtra.co.nz.

Thanks

I don't think you want those lights.

Most of the older ones are either colored sealed beams or clear sealed beams with colored lenses. Some of the newer ones are strobes and the newest ones are now LED's.

As brake lights and turn signals they would be bright enough but it would sure tax your electrical system sitting at a light getting ready to turn for any length of time.

I may have a set of clear bulb with colored lenses in a box in the shop you can have for the cost of the shipping. I just don't think they would work very well for you.

Thanks for the quick response. OK so none of them take bulbs? If that's the case then wont be able to use as the brake needs to double as running/park light. R the LED version also a sealed unit?

Thanks

I have Maxxima LED red and amber lights. They are sealed units.

I have seen LED bulbs that fit in place of regular incandescent bulbs.

The factory 8-way LED lights are sealed units.

This is what you want.

They are flush mount and bright, using almost no power at all.
