What do you think of these buses?

Hello Skoolie community,

I've read a lot of these threads and see that many people have great insight and understanding. So I ask you all, what do you think of these buses. It will be my home, not just an RV. It will be stationary mostly, I would like to relocate in 2017, would only drive it then. Also what questions should I ask of each of these posts. Thanks in advance.

The third one looks like it has potential.

DT466
136k miles
$1900

If I were bus shopping, I would be looking closer at that one.

I'd agree tthat the $1900 would be the first one I'd check out. The d466e is a good enough engine at that price and with those miles. Guessing based on looks I wouldn't expect it to be geared for long highway drives, though.

If you're mostly stationary, the engine-driven ac in the Thomas isn't that useful to you. It's a fair price, but doesn't match what you've said about use. I'd look toward a cheaper bus and save the money for RV-style plug-in electric roof AC units. From the available info, this one is likely the best highway cruiser. If you're a shade-tree mechanic diy-er, I'd avoid Caterpillar engines like this one though.

Can't really tell about the other two without more info.

I would look at the third one closer.
The first two are over priced by 50%
Fourth one too and he has found that out by reducing price from 5k to 3.5k
