What do youi think of this one?

422 Auction Services - Mathies & Sons, Inc.

It looks more like "yeah, that'd do for the price" than "that's the bus of my dreams!". Also, I cannot see breaking loose for long enough to get down there to pick it up, so I thought I'd bring it to y'all's attention.

I'm pretty sure it's been re-listed so there might be something wrong that I didn't get out of all the slightly-out-of-focus pics. Or maybe it's got an unrealistic reserve.

Now if it were only FE it'd be perfect.

Glad we're not competing for the same bus!

Dan, you're buying another bus? What's the count so far?

That is a nice looking bus with a great drivetrane.

Two questions stick in my mind though. What is the mileage? Where is the bus?

We know it is in Marshall but is in AK or AR? Methinks that the seller is a bit lost....

I stumbled on that last fall in a sale. In AK it turned out to be a isolated village on a river only accessible by boat or by air. There wasn't enough road to justify a bus.

The seller is not so sure: "2004 BLUEBIRD ALL AMERICAN LOCATED IN MARSHALL, ARKANSAS"

"*** LOCATED IN MARSHALL, AK ***"

Marshall is a city in Searcy County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,355

Marshall is a city in Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 349

Yeah, so why do those guys in Alaska need a 78 passenger bus anyway?

I think it's the same guy that was listing things last year. It's the same exact mistake.

See what happens when people don't pay attention in grade school.

I don't have a bus, yet. I bid on one, and you guys pointed out enough zits on it that I was grateful to have gotten outbid. I bid on a 2nd, and got "sniped" by Twigg. (Not sniped; I couldn't have bid it up if I did happen to be at a computer at the right time.)

I'm still looking for a 3rd. I stopped by a local prison and walked around and stared into a Bluebird that hadn't moved for 3 years the other day, trying to draw attention to myself. Couldn't even get a cop to try to chase me off. I'll have to try harder to get info about it.

Keep looking, and wait for the right one.

You bid a very reasonable price for the one I won, and next time a bid like that will probably win.

The bus is pretty much everything we both thought it would be, and that's why we were both prepared to pay at least $3500.

It's the Howard County Women's Correctional Institution. It could be an opportunity in disguise. I could help correct them.
