Will pay finders fee- looking for bus

I'm looking for a school bus to convert into a mobile studio for my wife.
Based on what I have read, the DT motors are the most reliable and best for the mountains where I live.
So I'm looking for
DT-466 engine, pre 2007- no maxxforce
Heavier duty transmission geared for highway- can be auto or standard
would prefer a rear engine, but that is flexible
between 10-13 window size
under bus storage would be ideal
minimal rust and in good mechanical condition- the body cosmetics do not need to be nice
a bus that can be imported into Canada- see link
150 thousand mile cap

I'm losing a bit on the USA exchange rate, but I could go up to 15k, but obviously the lower the better lol.

I am flexible on most things, and am looking for a bus I can drive across Canada without worrying about it exploding.

I'm limited to certain models for import, but its not too bad. Pretty much any BlueBird is ok and most International body after 2004-

You know, at $15k you could buy a reasonably finished skoolie or was that the idea in the first place? At $15k you could also get yourself a coach to work on.

I realize you're making a studio for your wife, but apparently you plan to do some traveling too. Just a thought.

That part is all on the owner/driver. If you don't look after these they do implode. Somehow they are not like cars which can sit for extended periods of time and run fine. You don't just jump in and drive or that ends up costing you. Buses need pampering no matter what make.(read maintenance)

By the way, there is no real money is there? None of it is based on gold anymore, just debt money which is virtually worthless paper. But we are COMPELLED to use it. It really is something I have no use for anymore. When I was young I didn't know any better. Now, the less I have of it, the better.

We trade buses for money all the time around here. Either are worth what you and I agree they are at the time the deal goes down; no more, no less.
