I run at 58mph indicated. I pass Chevy volts occasionally. It's 2300-2400 RPM at that speed.

Around town, the needle only moves slightly past the stop. It may not even have a thermostat in it.

Crappy photo but this is as high as it has ever been.

That's what I was thinking- stuck or missing t-stat, or maybe your fan clutch is seized?

I'm starting to suspect the water pump and rad are nearing the end of their life cycle on my bus. 15k hours will do that. The rad has some fins damaged and is a bit corroded.
I could replace both for like 700-800 bucks and an afternoon of my time.
What you think Chris? Should I go for it?

at that speed mine runs about 190-195 all day... its swhen you run it up to 65 or so they warm up big time in the heat...

judging from the oil pressure you are showing id Gauge you engine temp to probably be in the 185-190 rasnge.. which is still Nice!

I recently found out about the govdeals and publicsurplus sites (Thanks EastCoastCB) and will keep an eye out there. In the meantime I'll browse some of the classifieds here too but wanted to at least make a post.

Thanks
Hi Marvin-
What part of Florida are you in? Food truck is an awesome idea for a bus conversion. Have you checked out BGA Bus Sales in Hudson FL? Check them out.

We've all been getting our chuckles from BGA's pricing.

They have everyone wanting to get in on the bus flipping gold rush!
