unfortunately this happens more often than we see.. keeping the mirrors adjusted properly is Imperative.. as young kids this age dont know any better... they dont know which way t owalk or to not stand by the bus to wait for their freind to exit or to walk in front instead of behind etc..

we had SEVERAL incidents of this in columbus ohio.. then the city fired first student and bought all their own busses a few years back.. no more students injured.. I saw where that driver was an employee of the school itself.. makes me wonder if private drivers get adequete training.. not just to drve the bus but to watch and account for every kid getting on and off the bus..
