Don't be fooled into thinking you will be safe, as described. a 2 x 4 flying at over 200 mph will go straight through your bus, steel and all.
If you are in a tornado warning, you MUST get to a safe place, and that means a substantial building with no windows. Underground is best.
If you are planning to stay anywhere in tornado alley during the Spring and Fall, make sure you know where the nearest safe place is, and watch the weather very carefully.
We live close to Tulsa, this stuff is routine and we take it very seriously.
If you are traveling, the big coolers in gas stations are decent .. and the employees will be in there with you.
