crazy ullher float in breckenridge parade

Last night we took part in the Ullher parade in Breckenridge, Colorado. For the uninitiated, Ullher is the norse god of winter and every year the town of Breck. holds a crazy parade to bring the locals and visitors together to hopefully celebrate a big thick winter-layer of powder snow for the year. It is what a good portion of us live here for. So we had this full size bluebird running on wvo and appearing to be pulled and drug along by a bunch of americans. This was after a drunk and very close to has-been looking president Bush and his cohortish saudi prince kicking an inflatable earth led the way! George looked like he was out of work what with his will work for food sign. The saudi prince would occasionaly tell George to give that earth a kick. So then the americans apear to be pulling this huge bus with a bunch more saudis in it. The sides of the bus had banners saying "The end of an oil era" Sort of a play on the "end of an error 1/20/09 t-shirts. If you haven't seen them that is the last day of office for the big guy. The foat in front of us had a hottub with hotties. We got passed by three dog teams pulling guys on saucer sleds with no steering or brakes! Total unsafe craziness! It was great. There was a float with a ski jump;one with a roasting pig; and even a real zamboni driven by a norse Ullher likeness. Did I mention it snowed 25inches the day before!
