I'm from the South so... "Bless your heart" and "Thank you so very much".

I said OLD. You can't do that with any diesel engine built in the last 60 years, probably longer. So you can continue on or just drop it. I would be able to back up what I posted if I could access my old computer's hard drive. I have all the info there and some great alternative fuel websites as well. Had bookmarked a really great alternative fuel website out of Japan. As it is, I really don't care what you or anyone else does to their diesel engines. You can run Pepsi in it for all I care.

Dear Lorna. Good Saturday morning to you. I'm from Earth, so I apologize for my cruelty. But...

...living in agreement with nature. Laws of thermodynamics?

Location: Roswell NM. Martian technology?

...more important things to do... Install little propeller in automobile carburetor?

I better quit too. I'm not usually this mean. Hopefully it will pass.

I won't listen to any jokes about flying saucers. They are real, and I know because this one crash landed in my front yard on October 31 some years ago. The little green men told me it ran on Unobtainium.

(I built it out of two approximately 9-foot aluminum satellite dishes.)

There actually is a way to run an engine on water or more accurately, to appear to run an engine on water. It's a long shot of interstellar proportions, but....

Most motor vehicle fuel tanks draw the fuel thru a tube (the pickup tube) which is located slightly above the bottom of the tank. The purpose of this arrangement is to allow any dirt and water to accumulate on the bottom of the tank without getting into the pickup tube.

When the engine runs out of fuel, there is still a little bit of fuel left below the tip of the pickup tube. By pouring a small amount of water (or urine, in an emergency) into the tank, the thin layer of fuel will be lifted, and may cover the tip of the pickup tube so the engine will run again for a short time.

This should not be attempted except in life-threatening emergency!

Maybe you could drink beer, piss in the fuel tank, and go from quickee mart to quickee mart for free!

Eureka! I have found the combustible water! And we only have to go back to 1969, and Cleveland Ohio.

The Cuyahoga River actually caught fire several times thru the decades. You can come back, Miss Lorna, you have been vindicated!
