I have the AAA Plus. Runs me $116 a year, which is well worth it for a tow or tire change if needed. My liability insurance is through Allstate, and I also carry a RV package with them too, so between the two, can be towed up to 300 miles.

I spoke with a guy from Atlanta that had broken down in the Smokey Mountains and had his motor home towed to Gatinburg ......... Cost for the tow was... "drum row".... $1200.00
So $116 per yr for coverage is a great deal........ great ins.....

I used the AAA towing to get my 21' shuttle bus home, before it was even converted. It worked out GREAT for me, except that they had a hard time finding a service provider in my area that could tow it. The only place they had was closed on the day I called, so I had to get AAA to note in their records that I would be calling the next day to have it towed from where it "broke down". It all worked out well in the end.

Good info to know.... I agree I think once I get on the road I will have to buy in to this. For the towing alone its a deal
