Like the troopers will actually SEE a big, yellow vehicle driving along at a rather sedate speed.
Usually, when you do buy the bus, you'll have drive-off tags issued by the seller. If they're not, I suggest that you get some temp tags from
YOUR DMV before you get your new toy. And, while you're there, ask if you need a CDL. Chances are that you won't, but ask anyway.
A few words of advice about air brakes:
- Watch your air pressure - CLOSELY. A buzzer WILL sound if the pressure drops too low.
- Air brakes are twitchy. Gentle pressure on the pedal far in advance will keep you from doing a Windshield Taste Test.
One final caveat: You are now driving a VERY LONG building. Keep your eyes on the mirrors when you go around corners.
Have fun with your new toy.
