Exporting a bus from the U.S to Canada?

Hey all. I've been doing my research on this. For those that have done it How exactly did you get the bus from the sellers location to the border? Temporary tags? Is there insurance you got to drive it to the border? What's the import process like? I would really appreciate anyone who's done it sharing their experience. Thanks!

not the same exactly, but I did import a sno-cat from the US - saved me a lot of trouble by hiring a broker - I did most of the leg work for him ( gathered the information needed ) - customs would much rather deal with a broker than a private citizen - I think the $175 - $200 I spent was well worth it and I was on a tight budget

Did you have to pay any import fees or duties?

Thanks!

no duty on things made in North America ( as long as Trump hasn't slapped tariffs on school buses ) just your local provincial taxes and the federal sales tax -
