falling, and coming up smelling like a rose

went into ICBC to register my bus conversion and get a moving permit to take the bus in to get new windshields installed - got the moving permit without a hassle, but was told they couldn't register the bus without seeing the VIN in person - I can use the same moving permit to take it to ICBC on Thursday - I asked if they could double check how the bus was registered in Alberta because the paper work I got doesn't say what it was registered as, just that serial #XXXXX was registered to the previous owner - the previous owner claimed it was either registered as a Bus Camper, or a Bus Motorhome - I didn't want to have to deal with an inspection - the lady behind the counter said that would be hard for her to do because her software doesn't include info on 13 digit serial numbers, but that's no problem, she said, when you bring the bus in for registration, I'll step inside to see if it has the features needed, then declare it's a motorhome when we fill out the registration - the bus has 6 out of 7 things that are listed for it to be declared a motorhome - 4 would do as well - 'gotta love small towns where everyone knows everyone
