Florida-no insurance carrier

Looks like all the insurance agents send there stuff to progressive (Who no longer insures "anything that was ever a schoolbus").

not private or commercial ???

Something is going on.

Have you tried an agent, or online?
I went through a local agent.

Weird. My insurance is through Progressive, sub-contracted by USAA. I got mine a few years ago, so maybe I'm grandfathered in.

Have you tried not telling them it was a bus? When I got mine, all I said was, "International 3800," and that's what the title says, too. Of course, mine was registered as a motorhome in Tennessee when I bought it, so maybe that helped.

Ive been hearing something about NOT going the Mh title route to stay with Progressive.
IF its fully converted then Good Sam should be able to help you out.

Don't know I have two at the momentOne. Commercial policy $3000 a year with Progressive
But that being way to much for me to keep I kept looking
Next one is one I just found on line with the General. It's a. Progressive policy
For non professional bus conversion at 450 for the year
So I'm waiting to see if it comes in the mail then I'll cancel the More. Expensive one
The general online I think is the way to go

If you leave it titled as a bus rather than a motorhome, don't you then need a CDL class B to drive it legally if it is over 26K lbs?

Hey I am new to the community and just bought my first skoolie! Anyway if your in Florida go with Good Sam (underwritten by National general) they were so helpful. Purchased the bus in the morning called about 10 am... Had insurance by 3:45.. and Good Sam loves the Skoolies! The lady I talked to on the phone loved the crap out of my bus she kept calling me back telling me she was showing all her coworkers.
