No insurance, no tags. 1700+ miles then another 150 miles. I've got to get this thing insured, tagged & titled.

Try the NC dmv. I found something on their website (once, what a mess) about them issuing temp tags to transport a vehicle, I think it was for 72 hours. If you get somewhere with that def let us know

my insurance company has a statement in our policy that gives 72 hr coverage after vehicle purchase (he laughed and said boats and planes don't count
I have this in writting and use it
