Re: getting my bus home
Check your state rules, sometimes there is a temp tag/in-transit exception.
You can hire someone to drive it. There are semi-retired truck and bus drivers that do it for not much over cost just for the fun of it.
You can get it loaded on a low boy and hauled home. Good option if you don't trust the tires or drivetrain right now.
You can ask your friends if any of them have a CDL, one might do it just to have a road trip.
You can just drive it and hope to not get stopped. Not advised, even if you do actually know how to drive it.
You can re-title it before you move it. Various degrees of PITA factor depending on where it is, where the title is from, and who you get at the DMV. You don't need the final setup, just a temp setup to meet the requirements--remove a few seats, throw in a cot/futon, a tailgating sink/stove setup, and a portapotti with a curtain around it.
