gmac problems

So I called gmac and they told me I would need an apprasail done and to submit photos of the conversion . I'm in nc has anyone eles had to do this or should I call back ?

I don't know who you talked to, but i have had either gmac or on of their subsidiaries insure all my busses since 1989, and i have never had to have an appraisal, or photos. I would suspect that you either had the wrong sales rep, or you told them you have a school bus, and want to convert it or something like that..I have always partially converted my 5 busses and then called them, and have never had any problem. I now insure all my vehicles (except stree rods) with gmac.

when i talked to GMAC i told them it was a conversion, and i had to have insurance before i could get title transferred from bus to MH,,, they did my insurance - no problem... i had to take pics to the DMV to get the title transferred, but that was the only time i was asked for pics... good luck
