It'd be worth it, local derails notwithstanding.

I don't believe Titles can be editted once posted, but you might if you do an advanced edit while you're still in the edit period.

I just got temp plates for an inspection on Monday. Any recommendations here? I may/may not have it retitled next week depending on how that goes.

I didn't have to re-title my '98 in NH, so you're prolly good on that score.

Are you getting the inspxn in Salem or Manch-Vegas? I can recommend a place in Somersworth to avoid like the plague...
Edit: State Farm in Dover booted my coverage to the kerb within 2 months.

Ours is insured through State Farm. Give you local agent a call. If they won't do it, our agent Mike Estrada in West Leb will be able to help.

I'm trying to retitle as a motorhome so that I may be exempt from certain commercial weight limits. Every time I talk to the state they give me different answers.
I'm getting mine done in Nashua.

I can dig it. I didn't try to change to MH designation.
The seats were out, otherwise no mods made, all I wanted was to get legal with my, now turquoise-primered, moving van!

Update: I reached out to a local State Farm agent, and they're referring me elsewhere as the conversion is still incomplete.

I still advise to always call several different agents. If you are nice and honest, you generally will find one who will help.
That’s my two pennies worth - and I am sticking to it!

I can tell you the company has no flexablity... the agent may. I have seen it a million times, when the company says we don't write that risk and the agent decides to operate in the grey to make a buck, hoping there is never a sizable claim. The bigger the insurance company is the more black and white there underwriting is. The agents are the difference in most cases.

The agent has a much higher level of motivation than the public-facing insurance company staff, the latter usually operate off computer FAQ branching scripts and cast-in-stone lowest common denominator underwriting parameters with no leeway.
Those underwriters dealing with niche-specialist agents will have and give a lot more leeway.
An agent is like a bookie, if she's got a great track record (high profits from low claims history) the underwriter will give their much more personal assessment of your unique risk profile some credibility.
If an agent thinks your rig and usage pattern etc is too high risk, it becomes very true that they "can't" get you the kind of policy you want.
Yes find another agent, but also, consider what you can do to appear more low-risk, more competent or more conventional / mainstream, when making your case.
Even completely homebuilt rigs have gotten full coverage at a high agreed value, when every step of the buildout was publicly photographed, documented and vetted in a forum.
An agent that services your state with experience with your type of rig, will be very valuable, keep looking!
Or worst case change states.

Ah! A ginger... that explains a lot!

Hang on... You say don't trust a ginger.
But you bought insurance from a ginger. Yet you advise not to trust gingers...
So therefore, by the transitive property, two negatives result in a positive, so I should explicitly trust gingers...
But if what you first said was the truth followed by a lie, given by the assumption of the first part, ie carrot-top intrinsic untrustworthiness, then the result is a negative...
Excuse my while my head quietly implodes. There's a mop in the corner...

Anyone have any other leads in NH? I can't even find liability only until the conversion is finished, it seems. I have tags, a MH title, etc already.
Looks like State Farm will work post-conversion, I'm still another month or two away.
