In NH looking for insurance

If anybody knows an agent in NH who is comfortable with these, I'd love to talk to them.

What level of coverage are you looking for?

That's not a language I normally speak but here goes.

If I were to get into an accident, I'd like to be confident that the other party would be made whole.
Without them trying to take my house.
A deductible of around $1000.

I'm not worried over my rig. I've less than $5k into it.

Does that help?

Liability covers what you describe.
However it won't cover repairs or replacement of your vehicle if the accident is deemed to be your fault.
Liability is the easiest to get, and you shouldn't have to look too hard to find a carrier.
Is your vehicle registered as a RV?

GEICO, Allstate, AAA, and I'm sure others, will cover it with liability only...

Registration is as a bus.
I'm still unclear on what getting the registration changed to RV accomplishes.

Usually a bus requires a commercial policy vs basic automotive RV coverage.

Commercial comprehensive coverage on a bus, that covers almost anything that can happen to it and/or others involved in a claim is fairly costly.
It also covers repairs and replacement costs if you are in an at fault accident.

Comprehensive coverage on a RV basically covers the same and is typically less expensive, depending on your driving record, credit report, GPA from High School and College, etc.

Unhappy NH insurance- please help!

We are also looking for info about getting insurance in NH. We have a Shuttle bus- Ford E350 cutaway.

I've talked to 5 or 6 insurance agents and was told "we don't cover conversions". I got a kind local Liberty Mutual agent (who was interested in converting a bus herself!) to go the extra mile for us, but in the end our bus was "too long" for them to cover... I mean we have a shuttle bus so it's nowhere near as long as a full school bus. I didn't know to ask about "what if we got the titles converted to RV?" with most of those I talked to, but did ask our Liberty Mutual friend, and she said "no, that won't help".

Vehicle insurance isn't required in NH (live free, AND die, and don't get compensated for it). We also have ties in MA, so maybe we could re-register it there and get it insured... but that is going to involve some in-law convincing.

Any thoughts?
