Insuring bus contents ???????
I have a minitour type bus that is registered as an RV and insured with Country Companies for full coverage. I use the bus to haul my sons band equipment around and the band. Country Companies says that my home owners insurance should cover the bands stuff. I would say we own 90% of the bands stuff. Farmers Insurance, my home owner insurance, says there should be a rider on the bus policy for that. At least thats what they sell, except they won't insure homemade rvs. If my house wasn't such a dump, I'd dump farmers but hate to go through all the trouble to qualify. Anyone here deal with Country Companies or Farmers or ever try to insure your buses contents? Band instruments? I'm probably hauling an easy ten grand worth of stuff. Thanks for any replies.
