Hello, I just figured I would share my super easy experience in Billings, Mt getting the bus transfered to a motorhome. In fact this was probably the easiest thing thus far with the bus
, i am not even close to done with the conversion but I went ahead and called the sheriff to come and inspect the bus, as I needed to get it registered asap. The only thing needed for the inspection is the the RV inspection form
. On the form it is up to the applicant to fill out that the bus has all of the required amenities and that they are up to code. One of the deputies showed up inabout an hour and didnt even look into the bus other than to get the chassis serial. As far as he was concerned his only responsibility was to ensure the bus was not stolen. Then with the form, title, and title application in hand, I went down to the court house and had my plates with permanent registration within 30 minutes. The lady was a little distressed as the whole office only does this once a year, but she figured it out.
Now I am the proud owner of a Bluebird Motorhome!
