Need insurance for auction... (Pitts, PA)

On the 27th of June I'll be going to an auction to hopefully purchase my bus!

In order to drive it of the lot, I need to have insurance and I'm wondering what people recommend for price etc. I just need whatever the bare minimum is to drive it away for now, money is very tight at the moment.

Usually you'll have to buy a full-year policy, which you could turn around and cancel for a refund the next day after you've got the bus moved home. But probably you'll have to find the cash for the whole year up front ($450 or more). Some carriers might let you set it for monthly payments rather than pay-in-full..

Call your insurance agent. you should have a rider on your policy that protects you in other vehicles. buying a used vehicle is usually covered on your primary insurance for a week or so, giving you time to transport. here in Colorado, you have 2 weeks coverage from the date of your bill of sale, covered under your primary car policy.

Curious to know if that covers a vehicle your insurance company would not otherwise cover... Allstate told me they won't insure anything over 14k GVWR.

I don't currently have any kind of insurance. I've never had a car or anything
