think there was a guy on here from broklyn that has a chevy short bus. if i remember right he licensed it as a van. and since you are not going total RV then that would be safest way to go. call the DMV and see what it needs. in Saskatchewan i only need 2 things of an rv in it to be an RV

Im in NY. It sound to me that you dont need to register as RV. Just register it as a regular passenger vehicle. However you must remember to state that it seats more than 2 people. If its only two people and its a "van" then they will want you to have commercial plates. So just say 4 or more and youll be in and out.
