Original cost question for Allstate insurance??

I'm currently working with an Allstate agent to try and get by skoolie insured as an RV.

The one question the agent asked that has me stumped is what was the original cost of the vehicle new?

Was anyone else asked this question in the insurance process? How did you answer? Just best guess (I've heard shorties new go for around 68k but no idea what the features or year was) Also how will this affect my policy?

If you can answer any one of these questions at least partially you are my hero.

I have RV insurance with Allstate. Nobody ever asked me the original cost of the bus. It's not really something that you could even know without finding the original school system purchaser and getting them to divulge what they paid.

We also have RV insurance through Allstate. They did ask a CURRENT value, but not the original value.

FWIW: i stopped by the Bluebird dealer in Everett a while back picking up some parts. The sales guy offered to show me some new buses. We looked over a well equipped All American RE. It was sweet! I asked him the price. He pointed out that it was a high spec bus and the price was around $160k.
