Am I using the wrong terminology? Maybe I should have said dual wheels.

Hi all, just a quick update since this thread is still alive. I did go thru an insurance broker that I used in the past when I bought my Ducati diavel, no one wanted to insure the bike because they had no clue what it was, but this particular broker went the extra mile for me then and now with the progressive commercial. It is twice as much, but oh well, what can we do.

I was surprised at how many insurance companies just blew me off when I told them what I was doing. Gmac will insure it when it's done. RV America hung up on me after saying they wouldn't have any underwriters for that. A few companies advertised school bus conversion insurance and when called said they don't....even though it was on their site.

I could have insured that as a regular private van.
