You didn’t need to show proof of conversion, other than taking out the seats?
We’re looking to get a 2001 7 window international 3800.
Were out in Gwinnett county...

The one most concerned with conversion being completed is the insurance company. DMV will take your word for for the same reason most have registration issues in Ga., the DMV workers are there for the paycheck, not to help the customers.
While Ga. may not use the RV designation, they use motorhome (MH), and house car (HC).

Smile Ga Title as HC was easy

I have a 2007 BlueBird.

1) I got liability insurance from someone who knew about schoolie insurance. it cost me 1200.00 a year.

2) I took my Ga T-24 bus conversion form to DMV shating it was a bus no longer that all bus things had been removed etc.

3) I rtook bill of sale and Original title signed over to me to tag office.

4) 15 min latwer I walked out with a new tag from the tag pile and a receipt for my new titlew that ill be mailed. Its states "Bluebird manufacturer and Model is HC...House Car or House Coach...

It was painless.

JEEZ Louise!

I pay $90 a year for liability + roadside assistance. What did this guy know that I didn't?

State Farm is ripping me off to the tune of $4.11 a month for liability.

Thank you for the info.

I had the title, got insurance for my bus, and I had a notarized T-24 when I went to tag office. Had no BOS, but supervisor signed off on some paper.

Lady helping us registered the bus as BU
and it says A1- standard alternate. (We didn’t think too much of it cuz we just wanted plates to be able to drive it.)

I felt something wasn’t right. I handed her the T-24, she looked at it, and then kept typing away. Do I need to get another notarized T-24 and go to the office?

Hi all in Georgia,

I recently gutted my newly acquired 87 international s1853. With plan to build it into a camper. No seats, and starting on removing the "bus" signal lights from the top. Before I paint.

Anyway, I'm looking for anyone who can recommend an insurance agent to contact for my Skoolie. An email or phone number contact would be appreciated. I'm in Athens GA
