correct.. most of the stuff I DONT plan to have... at least no plumbing or central drinking water... and my HVAC is only going to be engine driven... so good sam is out for me...

thus far Progressive commercial has bene on board.. we shall see if I get a cancel letter..

if I get cancelled, i'll change my title back to bus, go get my CDL and roll that way

I had one, let it expire, have to go get it again, or at the very least update the physical on file and renew.

You might want to check on the physical.. I have a cdl for my city/government job and since we don't drive for commerce (freight or passengers for a profit) we don't need a physical. I was told that private cdl people don't need physicals either. Of course this is what we are told by management so take it for what its worth.

good call thanks for the tip, I'll check into what Ohio requires.. I had one previous for driving empty busses but was paid for it.. also got one as I had driven a church bus which in ohio was considered commercial because I was carrying passengers for "other than a personal purpose"..

its Ok to load 60 friends in a personal bus and go for a ride but not 60 church people for a church event in a bus owned by the church..

progressive wont insure converted skoolies by name.. however they will insure busses for private non commercial use to an individual...

good sam wants your conversion to be complete. including a bathroom functional..

Good Sam and Farm Bureau both turned me down flat. Seems to vary by state.
