Successful insurance binder through State Farm

After calling various insurance companies I successfully insured our partially completed conversion via State Farm. For now they gave us a commercial for personal use policy and I can transfer that to a regular RV policy upon proof of completion

$40 a month

Yay!!!

The one thing they did required were very adamant about getting was proof of how much I paid for the bus when I purchased it so definitely get some sort of proof of sale or receipt or contract or something when you buy your bus

Strange because State Farm will not write CFPU policy here in Ga.

I called my local State Farm office here in Tennessee and I told him exactly what I had exactly what I was doing with it and they agreed that I needed commercial for personal use until the conversion was complete and they didnít have any problems securing the policy

Pretty much mirrors my experience with State Farm on three different buses in WA and AZ.

However, products offered will vary from state to state.

My State Farm agent would have written me if he could, he instead referred me to an independent competitor for the CFPU.

I write for Liberty Mutual in TN/GA. I don't need any photos and we don't care where it is in the process of conversion. With us (in TN/GA only) I can write a personal policy with full coverage or liability only with just simply having a traditional lead line auto policy with us. Also, the bus CAN NOT be your primary address. Let me know if you have any questions. I think I have written 35 policy from Skoolie.net over the last 6 months.
