Canadian Land and Skoolies - Perfect Match
I get a sales newsletter for Canadian Land from the Dignam Co. They sell tracts of land all over Canada, most of them in remote areas. From what I can tell a skoolie would be the perfect RV for exploring/reaching these areas. Most of the properties are sold at a reasonable price and a skoolie would be the perfect homne to live in while setting up a homestead, or just use the land for boondocking.
Does anyone from the great white north have any experience with land sales like these or the suitability of skoolies for driving on the roads leading to them (often gravel/dirt...or as they call it "seasonal roads")?
At the same time, does anyone on this side of the border know of similar companies that sell tracts of land at reasonable prices (ones that are not in the southwest....i.e. desert)? I'm thinking land in the northern states where there are actually trees, water, etc.
