Get together in Indiana?

I moved to Indiana recently and finally drove the bus down from Michigan a couple of weekends ago. It was the last thing I moved before selling the house there

I was surprised to see that Midwest Transit is only about 2.5 miles from our new place. Should be handy for parts if needed.

I am wondering if there are any Skoolie gatherings here in Indiana. It would be fun to get to know some people down here.

I may just do that.

Have to think about when, where, and how.

There's a Facebook group called"Midwest skoolie and bus meetup" that is trying to get one setup.

I need to find that FB group.. have to be careful who to share that one with.. unfortunately amongst some of the bus enthiusiasts is animosity toward people converting vs preserving... Grrr.. never understood that but oh well..

I enjoy the fact people are interested in busses whether restoring or converting them.. its all fun to me..

We'd definitely go if we're still around and haven't taken off on our travels yet. Be nice to let our bus stretch her legs a little!

Once we get back on the road (march?) we're going to make a real effort to hit meetups and conventions and such as often as we can. Made a lot of awesome friends across the country, that's what it's all about.
