Glampout number 10 coming up

On the 16th it's off to https://maricopa.gov/parks/lake_pleasant/ for a few days. Dragging the 4x4 and packing all the guns for some target shooting.

Looks to be very nice weather down there, in fact it was 68 here today at 4000ft!

Going to stop by the bus co. where we bought the BB to say hi.

Next month: Grand Canyon South Rim.

Have a buddy who's family business is buying and selling mil. surplus stuff. They get to play with all sorts of neat things like howitzers etc. Fun.

Cool! Can I rent a mini-gun or GAU8 for a couple of hours to play with?

We have places along some hwys that do just that. Small shooting ranges where you can shoot some big stuff. My buddy and his associates have meets out in the desert where they play, blow up stuff like pickups..

Hmmm...let's see... coupl'a bucks a round for the small stuff at 6000 rounds a minute...that's a hundred rounds a second...I figure I can afford about a half seconds worth at best.

And I can't imagine what 30mm HE rounds are going for these days.

Darn...maybe I'll just watch.

What are you, rich or something? A mini-gun shoots 7.62 and at todays prices, cheap stuff costs .50 a round. I won't bring up the other because you can't get it.
