You could do this a different time and have it be a bus build gathering where everyone works on their buses if you had that kind of space. They have similar for vans and it’s a great way for Skoolie people to help eachother and share knowledge.

I am very interested in attending but it all boils down to what I'm able to get accomplished in the next six months. The bus is currently on pause and parked in the country since last February bc we were having a baby, but our daughter is 8 months old now and I'm ready to get back on it. I'm also looking into flying to Chile on the 1st of July for the total solar eclipse. Currently self-employed and living paycheck to paycheck so please everyone cross your fingers or pray or whatever you can to help me pull this off. Much Love!

First time poster>.
I have been kicking around the idea of doing a bus for a long time. Still in the discovery phase. I have some interest in attending this event, do you think people would let me look inside the skoolies and get a good feel for what i'm getting in for? This event is 2 miles up the street from where I live.

I'm not on Facebook (GASP!) as I don't like it.
Could someone here post all the particulars, please?
Thank you!

Here's the info from Facebook about the rally near Angola, IN on July 26-29.
Quote:
We checked out this area and the spots in yellow are larger 35+feet. There are a ton of other spots but confirm site length before you book. If we fill these spots there are more but not in the section. (Comfort station 3)
|
Van campers are welcome. There are also cabins available if your skoolie isn't ready. All sites have 30A, a fire ring and pick-nick table. You can reserve online at
https://indianastateparks.reserveame...me.do?tti=home
You can see a picture and some info about each site. They won't take reservations more than 6 months out, so not for a few days.

I'm just north on I65 (30 minutes), south side of Lafayette. I would love to attend. That would give me a deadline to get done.

Ok, I'm really confused. Which campground is this? Pokagon? Chain-O-Lakes? Angola is in the far north-eastern corner of Indiana. Lafayette, well, north-west.... How is Lafayette north of Angola when they are on opposite sides of the state?

Ok, looked back in the thread. I saw a reference to Chain-O-Lakes State Park. Is that correct?
