My wife and I would like to go. I will have to see how it will work out the job. I am not sure if I will have our bus ready for a trip that distance yet. Maybe we might just take the car and camp somewhere.

ready for the last leg of this adventure

We have had the inside done for a while now. Now that is it warming up its time to do the outside. We have spent the last few days pealing off all the nasty reflective tape all over the bus. We will start the sanding and prep for exterior paint this weekend after this rain passes. I have 5 gal of Tropicool slated for the roof which should help with the heat. I have not been looking forward to this part of the build but i can see the light at the end of the tunnel and so ready to cross that finish line.

I just want to remind everyone that the plan is July 12, 13, and 14. And I’m crossing my fingers and hoping the rain stops and the ground dries out in the next month.

Just giving our we'll-be-there-in-spirit response. Former Evansville resident. Perhaps next year....

turns out one of my bus-collector friends is in town already and a couple other friends and I are getting together to try and diagnose a Sick T-444E on one of their busses.. the weather looks to be perfect too.. (for us to work on broken busses and for this event!)

From speedway go north on hwy 465 to hwy 65 north. Go north until the Whitestown exit(see big auto auction on left and a wonderful Cummins building behind it then next exit is yours to this address.

Get off of I65 at exit 133.

(If going north stay in the left lane of the exit ramp and and turn right off the ramp to continue north on S 400 E)

(If going south, turn left off the ramp and cross over the highway and continue North on S 400 E)

We are on the right side about 1/4 mile past the Perryworth School.

You will see two pole barns and there is a yellow porta John in the drive.
