I should be home by about 3 o'clock Friday. Had to take a half day off today because of my daughter's allergies. Oak pollen I think. So I took some time on the driveway with the pole saw. I think it is the third law of bus hosting : Thou shalt not scratch, or allowed to be scratched, your friends bus

too bad schools dont go by that motto... a lot of roof rust on busses in "quaint" towns comes from nice tree-lines streets and the sound of school buses blastiung through trimming the trees for the residents..

I am working on trying to get there!! I may have the bus ready to drive (it will be completely gutted, except th floor) but should be good to drive. It needs some practice - and I just got Good Sam membership - so no worries
I was going to have it painted the weekend - but will put that off until next week.
If I can't get the bus together by Saturday morning - I will swing by in my car for a short visit!

Drinks? I'm trying to kick my soda habit so I'll stick with tea or water. Evening sitting around the little fire ring drinks? We have a little fire ring near the pool we can hang out around in the evening. I think we're pretty low on our adult beverage supply here.

The pool is a little chilly BUT if we happen to work (on dog rescuers floor or my roof rack) it'll a refreshing dunk to knock the bus dust off.
My wife capture some old grey guy cannonballing in for his first swim of spring.

When you turn off the paved road onto 110th street (parallel roads) stay on the right side. Both roads go to the same place. At one point both roads merge then split again. Keep to the right side. Make the next left. There will be a white sign that says "horse boarding."
Keep your momentum as you turn left across the parallel track and onto my driveway. Head down the hill then up, about 10 mph should keep you moving just fine. Follow the driveway all the way to the end.

Well you will be missed~! We will only be stopping by on Saturday afternoon (in our jeep). We got insurance on the bus today but it only has one seat in it right now as I have the floor torn out.

Nice - I have a seat and a hammock - and I think a folding chair - perfect for traveling!!
I was able to get the floor mostly replaced - just trying to get things bolted down - and will hopefully be up there Saturday afternoon.
