Ocala Fla Skoolie April 22

We had such a good time at the last gathering we thought we'd like to have people over. Skoolie friends are welcome to come out to the farm to use the grill and swim. BYOB etc. If you want to camp out Friday and/or Saturday it not a problem. We have a 5ac pasture for extra bus parking. Our driveway is sandy but there are really only two spots to be concerned about. My bus doesnt have a problem. If we need it I have a tractor and multiple 4x4's with winches.

Jeep, bus, repeat.

Nice, you may end up with "distance traveled" award!
But Chris may still have you beat!

it probably doesnt count since I have home base in FL abd ohio LOL..

and im guessing Dred still has me beat for total Bus miles driven in a year since he was ALL OVER the place till his bus died..

I am at about 19k miles coillectively on 2 busses in the 11 months ive had a bus..

put about 150 on the DEV this weekend, I love RedByrd, but also something nice about the sound and the Brute of a 'DT'

Yeah, so you understand why eventually I NEED that 466 shorty!!

I guess "distance traveled" would depend on where you leave from?

I've got about 2000 miles driving my buses- TOTAL. I gota catch up with yall.

a DT360 in a shorty isnt bad. but a little 6 window with a DT466 would be killer.

too bad the 3 I know of here in Cbus that are Bluebirds (6 window)with the full size chassis like your shorty are rusty!, they are DT466's. well DT-466E's as they are 2000 or 2001 busses. the fleet manager doesnt want to give them up, but the school board wants them gone and replaced with new ones.. they have the ever typical rivet-rust out that bluebirds have had for years around that era. I know at least one is geared for speed and the driver knows it.. that bus Blows down the freeway at 70+...

Plenty of room at the farm for bus parking.
I literally woke up at 1:44 last night having a nightmare that 3 full size buses, looking like train cars that had derailed in a jumble, were stuck in the dirt road leading to my house.

I'm sure we wont have a problem since my little one goes all the time, even towing a 6000lb traler. Lowes, UPS, power company, etc have never gotten stuck. I'm a born worrier though. Never had a full size bus back here.

That all sound exciting , would be great to meet you all.
got stuck during our last trip, Elfie, and had a great time getting back out. Our former camper was based on a 4x4 e350 chassis ambulance. The motor died and so we bought this Corbeil. The last phase of our project will be to take the 4x4 set up and mount it under Elfie.
Still looking for directions, coordinates, address for 21/22 April?
