Skoolie Gathering/Sandi's Road Trip Party CENTRAL FL

Well we're celebrating Sandi's heading out for her two year road trip, and will be having beer, live bands, BBQ, and more.
Last weekend in Sept.
Camping available. PM me to rsvp and that way we can plan for how many folks to feed and all that.
Will be in Sorrento/Apopka and John's like the last time.
Hope to see a buch of skoolies there!

I would like to attend! I should be a full time Skoolie by that point, too!

We really look forward to meeting you!
Anyone who helps our canine friends must be a GREAT person!

The plan is to "circle the wagons" and enjoy some music and camaraderie.

Hoping we get Bowser, Cabin Bus, Caddilac, Scott, and MANY MANY more!

Driveway just had some new gravel put down so no one will get stuck.

Wonder how long that would take to drive. Google says 900 miles; 18 hrs at 50mph average. Would love to meet some skoolies and see some first hand. The problem lies in that we will be getting back from AK mid Sept and the gf will have burned all her PTO.

Do you like Cigar City beers?
Invasion pale ale is outstanding.

I like every beer that I've not had even if they taste like warm as5. That said, I'm not real big on IPAs. Now if we throw in some tacos, I can IPA.

Label doesn't look familiar so I don't think I've had that one in particular.

I'd love to drive the bus down but I don't know if that'll happen. If for no other reason than it's slower than the car. It's a 13 hr drive at 70 mph average. 15+ at bus speeds.

Flights are only $127 round trip. If this is a for sure thing (date and location) I'll book tickets now while I have the money. Busless and carless, we'll Uber to/from the airport. A place to crash would be nice tho. Don't know what there is for hotels there.

8:40 pm out of BWI on Fri. Return flight at 6pm on Sunday. No red eye flights, etc. This just might happen.

I'm assuming it's Sept 29th - Oct 1st?

Yep. Fri-sun on the last weekend of Sept.
The food and music will be saturday night.

I've taken a few tons of logs and built a giant bonfire pile. Should be ready to burn by then!

We'd love to have you, Bob!
I'll get a selection of local brews together for you and i'll even pick up a sixer of some gluten free brew for myself so we can have a beer together.
I gotta get my shorty done before then, so we can all take a nice "field trip".

Forgot to do it today. Good thing. I forgot about my mid month bills since June is a 3 paycheck month. I'll check ticket prices Monday or maybe wiat until next Friday when it's payday again.
