LOL. Here I am replying a day after the fact...
I should be able to get online sometime on MWF evenings through next week (that's when I can use the computers at school).
After that, it will get less frequent until school starts up again, but if I know about something in advance, I can get to a computer, generally.

I would love to get together with my fellow Skoolies but, I work from 7 pm to 7 am, Monday thru Saturday and don't get much of a chance to chat.
Maybe after I get off of these shifts will I be able to chat.

I would love to see some activity in the chat room..How about more people just stopping by at random times to see who is here. I am on several times a day as a rule. Just pop a hello message when you get in and see if we can't stir up some regular activity?

Wishful thinking. I would love to see "A" chatroom if possible. The other groups have them but nobody seems to use them. I believe this group would be a bit more inclined to use it. Please forgive the mental confusion LOL

Okay, I'm thinking big now. How about a Skoolie gathering/ roundup, whatever you want to call it. Somewhere in the midwest/central U.S. maybe a state park reserved or a private farm maybe. It would have to be scheduled maybe 6 months or so ahead to allow everyone to prepare. It would be so cool to have all of the skoolies from this site gathered in one place for a couple of days. This may be too big to realistically do, but it would sure be fun. I'd go! boy, imagine the photo of all these skoolies together, I bet this would even get some media attention. Anyone have the time to organize something of this magnitude?

Would a 17 acre bottom field (on a 65 acre property) with a year round creek on one side, a stone bluff on another next to a black top road in the middle of the centrally located Missouri Ozarks be big enough?
I've been thinking about the "First Annual Skoolie Roundup" for a while and now that Mike and bdavis have "let the genie out of the bottle" I guess it's time to voice my opinion that at some point, somewhere, we should all meet.
There are pluses and minuses to using my property which I can discuss later. I'll wait to see if there is any interest first.

I'd love to be there, but I only have 2 weeks off for Christmas & New Years. I'd sure like to see it happen, though, and be there through the photos you guys post! Some day I hope to have a life and be able to GO places and DO things!

I'd be interested. In fact, I have to travel to the south country at some point this summer for a wedding and if you draw a line from Minnesota down to where I need to go...well....you kinda just run right over MO.

Hey Ken, it looks like interests may have stagnated, none the less, a half dozen buses would still be a great time. Do you feel this is enough to begin considering a gathering date?

Since I am just outside of St. Louis, a gathering in Licking would be a good thing for me. Depending on the number of skoolies, might also want to check out lane springs. If there would be enough buses, we could prolly take over the entire area.
I am just now starting to work on my bus, so it probably won't be too close to being done.
