Windy Hill is off CR 74 in Yavapai County AZ. Can be windy and has a great view. Campfire....ok when calm. Limited space, 3-5 buses in a circle, more room nearby tho'.
GPS not yet

Skoolie Camp 1 is a common camp spot near Cottonwood AZ off SR 260 on FR 147A. GPS n34.66750, w111.96231

I'll talk with the wife but I'm sure we are in for a little AZ meetup. We just got back from a Portland road trip in the bus so I've got a little work to do on the rig before she is ready to roll out again.

We're back in the Dewey/Prescott area for now.

Ok, still contemplating..
Also thinking of a Skoolie Rally at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Flint...28856807181988 Going to take a drive up there and check out the facilities and prices. This off the wall place could be just the ticket for off the wall Skoolie people!!

Spring is slipping away but.... We are driving north to Bedrock on Tues. to check out the facilities. This is high country, cool weather even in summer, just north of I-40 on road to The Grand Canyon.

Even if there will be no interest, Mary and I will be camping up there soon if it looks good.

Stay tuned

Our glamping trip was perfect. The weather was mid 80's and mid 40's. Drove to Bedrock City, well it's a bit rough but may work. The CG is kinda run down, they charge per person to camp=$8 with water and 30a elec. Dump station on the property. Water not good quality. http://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/11289

Here's pics from our trip.
