Vending at Festivals???

I was wondering if anyone knew of somewhere online that I could go and find listings of festivals/concerts/etc that you can set up a skoolie to vend out of??? I would like to travel more in my new home, and I figure that if I could get on some sort of festival circuit I could afford to live off of my crafts/talents. But I have no idea how to find out about the festivals, who to contact about vending, etc... except a few here in my home town... please help?

Re: Vending at Festivals???

I will list the sites that I have book marked. I'm listed on a few of these (food vendor). We do SMALL events. I have found all the ones we do by searching to events on State tourism sites, art fair listings, music festival. where you set up depends on what you have to sell. You need to know the MAX you can sell (realistically) and how much you need to sell in order to cover the entry fee. BTW, ALL PROMOTERS LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING. Engrave that on your forehead. We do small events and keep our entry fees very low (Nothing over $80). Our max take is about $500 per day.

Re: Vending at Festivals???

it depends on what you want to sell, I know a guy that does stuff made out of rock and stone, and he does about $1000 or more per day. I used to do BBQ myself.
