Weekend getaway attempt

This weekend (Valentines) is to be our first trip out overnight. It figures that it is also supposed to drop to near freezing at night and I am battling the cold I got from coworkers! Looks like we will be taking extra blankets and buying a space heater and bed warmer. Great part is, we can try out the new generators.

cool. We will likely work on our bus then *maybe* hit Flame Kabob in Edgewater for dinner.

Have you been to any of the monthly art walks at Gulfport? My brother has a place there and we used to go when we could get away. Great fun. Plenty of hippies, and good times. Great food too.

Well, the weekend went like this..
It started off cold and got colder. We looked at curtains, didn't buy anything, not even a space heater. We did take extra blankets, moved our old 7cubic ft fridge and our microwave into the "kitchen area", grabbed some leftovers and headed out for the night.
How far did we get? Well, she wanted to stay close to a warm bathroom and I wanted to spend less time driving and more time enjoying the "living" portion of the weekend, so we moved it farther back in the driveway.
We played checkers, checked email, ate a hot meal and watched a movie till we fell asleep. The next day we talked ideas about the flooring. I'd say it was a success! We are now more motivated than ever to get it finished!
I grabbed some old wood last night and will build a shelf/short wall where the hand rail will attach at the top of the steps in front.
Our next adventure will likely be an overnight trip away.

Sure:
I save enough from selling the house, I might have to get a houseboat and park the bus on blocks.

I love the paint job on that one!

How do these guys keep the skeeters away at night?

My wife is glad we got a bus, the car was getting kinda tight:

Bless her heart.
