Smile What apps/websites do you use on the road?

Hi everyone!

I'm an aspiring skoolie-ite and software developer. I'm so impressed by the spirit of adventure, DIY attitude, and helpfulness of this community.

I'm trying to get a feel for what sorts of websites/apps you're using on the road. What do you like about them? What don't you like? What do you feel is missing?

Thanks so much, safe travels!

Careful, you hit a nerve.

Google maps is what I use...and absolutely hate with a passion. Not so bad on a laptop or desktop when at home. Absolutely sucks on my phone when on the road. Giant sized "option" buttons clutter the map, and large whitespace regions limit the size of the map to half my phone's screen. And don't get me started on touch screens.....

Thanks for your reply, MountainGnome!

Have you tried using the Google maps app, rather than the website, on your phone? It has much better performance and layout.
