The world is round if given enough time you will get there eventually. I go by if I see flags with maple leaves I have gone too far north, if I see flags with cactuses and eagles I have gone too far south, you can only go so far west or east because mother nature will turn you back. Everything in between you are golden.

THE (NOT SO) GRAND CANYON

Shortly after I got this pic, I filled my water tank, and hauled ass south again, rolling down just south of Sedona, dropping 3,000 feet, and gaining 20 degrees. Found a nice spot with some sucky, multi-colored hills that look as tho they need exploring.

After I parked, I realized I was sharing my view with a neighbor. She seemed a little pissed.

She kept giving me “that look”.

The moonrise last night gave me the feeling that this was all too good to be true. I am much more excited about riding around here than I was about the Grand Canyon.

Dred, you're right up the road from us!

Tomorrow we are heading south to The Lost Dutchman SP for the holiday. Mary has a craft/art showing at The Superstition Mtn Museum on Sat. Warm down there.

I don't like the "log-flume" of National Parks - all the dirt roads were closed, so you could not get out of the stupid parking lots.

I much prefer the freedom of Canyonlands NP and access to the White Rim Trail - I did not feel cheated after leaving Canyonlands

I am headed south after exploring this area, so maybe we can meet up?

If you find the museum, we will have our gold Dodge Neon, not the bus. Bus will stay at the CG.
